Family pleads for help in search for Mohd Adhaar
MOHD IZZATUL IZUAN TAHIRTANJONG KARANG - A 37-year old mentally ill man has been reported missing from Thursday and his family members are pleading for help from the public to search for him.
Nor Asliya Aripin, 24, said they realised that her brother, Mohd Adhaar Aripin, was missing from his bed at their uncle's house in Kampung Sri Jugra Banting at about 1am.
She said her brother had once expressed his wish to return to their family's home in Tanjong Karang, but so far, he was still nowhere to be found.
"Perhaps he is around Banting or had taken a bus to Klang, Kuala Selangor and Tanjong Karang.
"Until today, he has not been found and we are worried about his safety especially since he has a mental problem," she told Sinar Harian, today.
Asliya who lives in Lorong 11, Kampung Sungai Sireh here said her brother's disapperance had impacted their mother, Salamah Misron, 56, emotionally.
"Mother (Salamah) lives with me and she misses my brother so much that she has lost her appetite. We are worried that her health will be deteriorated.
"We have tried many ways to find my brother, but until today, we still haven't found a clue," said the sixth child of seven siblings.
Asliya said the whole family had not stopped praying for Adhaar to return home safely.
She revealed that her brother was diagnosed with a mental problem when he was in his 20s and had lived with their uncle since the past three years.
"He used to live with us, but his situation had gotten uncontrollable and he would often rebel up to a point where we had to ask my uncle to help take care of him," she shared.
She finally sought help from those who had seen Adhaar to lodge a report to the nearest police station or call her at 016-3454481.
