SEPANG - Sharipuddin Shaari, 53, one of the victims killed in the plane crash on Persiaran Elmina has been laid to rest at the Sultan Hishamuddin Muslim Cemetery in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi (BBST), today.

His remains arrived at the Sultan Hishamuddin Mosque at BBST here at 12.20pm for the funeral prayer and he was buried at 12.50pm.

More than 100 people attended the funeral prayer led by Saudi Jusoh before the body was taken to the cemetery near the mosque for burial.

On Thursday, 10 people died after a Beechcraft Premier 1 plane crashed at Elmina. The victims included two crew members, six passengers and two civilians.

Sharipuddin, an e-hailing driver, who was in the area at the time of the incident was killed after his car was hit by the plane that crashed.

The late Sharipuddin, who was from Arau, Perlis was survived by his wife Suriana Muda, 43, and two children, Muhammad Sharul Izuan, 16, and Nur Izzara Arissya, 9.
