Body of Pelangai Assemblyman to be buried today
MUHAMMAD AMINURALIF MOHD ZOKIKLANG - The body of Pelangai Assemblyman the late Datuk Seri Johari Harun who was involved in the tragic aircraft crash near Elmina, Seksyen U16 Shah Alam will be buried at the Raudhatul Sakina Cemetery, Taman Selasih, Batu Caves on Sunday.
The information was shared on the deceased’s official Facebook page.
His remains is expected to be brought out from the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR), Klang at 9am.
“The prayers for the body would be done in Jamek Ar-Rahimiah Mosque, Klang for the first prayers.
“The body then is expected to arrive at Saidina Hamzah Mosque, Jalan Batu Muda, Kuala Lumpur for the second prayers at around 11am before the burial at Raudhatul Sakina Cemetery, Taman Selasih, Batu Caves at noon,” the post stated on Sunday.
Datin Seri Maziah Samsudin, the deceased’s widow arrived at 11am at the HTAR forensic department on Saturday.
It was reported that her presence was for the purpose of identifying the body.
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan on Saturday informed the bodies of all nine victims involved in the crash would be able to be claimed at 9am at the HTAR Forensic Department, Klang.
“All affairs involving the DNA matching sequence has been completed.
“The identities of all bodies gave been confirmed and identified through the previous efforts,” he said in a press conference at HTAR on Saturday.
On Thursday 10 victims were confirmed to have died in the tragic aircraft crash.
The victims consisted of eight aircraft passengers and crew while the other two were a motorist and motorcyclist who happened to be at the scene.
