PN results show people want change, says Hamzah
SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) victory in three states signals people's s confident in coalition, says its secretary general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zaunuddin.
In his Facebook post, Hamzah underscored that the people's referemdu as been translated into the ballot paper.
He thanked votes for their support in voting for PN candidates in six states yesterday.
“I would also like to extend my gratitude to the entire leadership and machinery of PN for their relentlessly despite facing challenges from various sides.
“At the same time, the large increase in votes for Perikatan Nasional in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan gives the impression that the people want change.
“People want a government that is more responsive to the issues they face,” he said.
Commenting further, he added that PN will continue to partner with the people to pursue a transparent and fairer Malaysia for all parties regardless of race and religion.
He said PN will ensure that the coalition becomes an umbrella that is attuned to the pulse and grievnces of the people.
“Every problem of the people is a struggle of the PN because we are the people,” he added.
