PN's victory raises concerns, according to PH candidates
KLANG - In the aftermath of the election results, Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates are offering insightful perspectives on various critical issues, shedding light on the nature of victory, the urgency of unity, and the imperative to address disparities.
PH Meru candidate Mariam Abdul Rashid has put forth a nuanced analysis of the victory achieved by Perikatan Nasional (PN).
"The victory of Perikatan Nasional is not a genuine people's victory; it's rather a result of the falsehoods they propagated, particularly concerning Pakatan Harapan and the unity government," she told Sinar Daily.
Mariam explained that the support for PN may not stem from people genuinely favoring their policies, but rather from misinformation spread by their media, especially about Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Mariam highlighted misinformation's role in shaping public perception, casting a shadow over election results that might outwardly indicate support for a party.
Meanwhile, Bandar Baru Klang PH candidate Dr Quah Perng Fei offered a visionary perspective for the next five years, revolving around inclusivity and opportunities.
"I believe we are not defined solely by race; we should provide everyone equal economic opportunities and access to quality education," he said.
Perng Fei stressed his unwavering commitment to address disparities, particularly within the Malay community, through fostering equal economic opportunities and education.
His ambitious vision for Bandar Baru Klang is encapsulated in his rallying slogan, 'Makmurkan Bandar Baru Klang,' reflecting his dedicated mission to propel the region toward prosperity.
