14 Muda candidates fail to stand out in Selangor

SHAH ALAM - The first attempt by the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly has not borne fruit, as all 14 of its candidates currently stand on the brink of defeat.
As of 10pm, the average number of votes received by Muda candidates ranged from just over 40 to 4,000.
The Muda candidate with the lowest number of votes is Amir Hariri Abd Hadi, who contested in the Seri Serdang state seat with only 42 votes.
On the other hand, Zayd Shaukat, who contested in the Subang Jaya state seat, garnered the highest number of votes for the party, reaching 4,790 votes.
