Preakas Sampunathan excited to serve Kota Kemuning
KLANG - Kota Kemuning assemblyman Preakas Sampunathan is looking forward to deliver and serve Kota Kemuning for the next five years.
Despite the low turnout in the afternoon, Preakas is grateful that the people in Kota Kemuning still cast their vote in the area and in Selangor.
“I felt a bit scared but people has never let us down. We sent out messages, requesting them to go out and vote, and we saw a spike afterwards.
“That has given us a victory and we thank the people of Selangor who has saved the state,” he said.
He believes the people have faith in Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) leaders to be the head for Selangor.
“This is the synergy between the federal and state governments' effort.
“It shows on the results that the people have confident on the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and also Menteri Besar Selangor, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari who had done a fantastic job in providing necessary incentives for them.
“They have given a full faith on Amirudin,” he told Sinar Daily.
Preakas also reflected on PH’s victory in Penang after successfully retaining their position as the state government.
“People of Penang were able to analyse and come to their consensus that PH government is the best government to lead the state. I think Penang is doing a great job,” he said.
