ALOR GAJAH - The body of a man believed to be an Indonesian skipper was found floating in the waters of Tanjung Tuan, Negeri Sembilan, at about 7.30 am today.

Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Melaka and Negeri Sembilan director Maritime Captain Iskandar Ishak said the body was found 0.5 nautical miles south of Tanjung Tuan by local fishermen, who then informed the agency.

The body was identified as Kaharudin Kolah also known as Pak Lang, 62, he said in a statement today.

He said the body of the Indonesian skipper was identified by a survivor of the boat which capsized after colliding with an MMEA boat in an attempt to escape inspection last Wednesday morning.

"The victim was identified from the watch and the clothes he was wearing,” he said, adding that the body was brought back to the Maritime jetty and handed over to the police for further action. - BERNAMA
