PH wins big in Penang - Chow

GEORGETOWN — Pakatan Harapan (PH) has big won in Penang polls securing 29 state seats.

This has been revealed by the Penang caretaker Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at the St Giles Wenbley Hotel, today.

“This is the biggest sign for PH to successfully form the unity government because we reached two per three for all state seats which have been contested by the PH component parties – DAP, PKR, Amanah and Barisan Nasional (BN),” he said.

Chow, further elaborated that DAP has won in – Bagan Jermal, Bagan Dalam, Berapit, Padang Lalang, Perai, Jawi, Tanjung Bunga, Ayer Putih, Pulau Tikus, Padang Kota, Pengkalan Kota, Komtar, Datuk Keramat, Sg Pinang, Batu Lancang, Seri Delima, Ayer Hitam and Paya Terubong.

“Meanwhile, for the PKR has win were – Kebun Bunga, Batu Uban, Pantai jerejak, Batu Maung, Machang Bubuk, Bukit Tengah and Bukit Tambun," he said.

Amanah won one seat in Bayan Lepas.

Another PH component, BN has successfully won the Bertam and Sungai Acheh state seats.
