HULU SELANGOR - A media officer was injured after a tent at the Sekolah Rendah Agama (SRA) Serendah polling centre had been blown by a storm on Saturday.

It was reported that the victim, a 49-year-old man, was sheltering under the tent.

Hulu Selangor district police chief Superintendent Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said the incident occurred at 4.20pm.

"The victim was with several other voters under the tent before it had overturned due to the storm.

"He suffered light injuries on his back after a fan blade hit the individual. However, others at the scene suffered no injuries," he told Sinar on Saturday.

He said the victim had reportedly received treatments at a clinic in Serendah.

"The victim did not suffer any serious injuries, only cuts on his back.

"No police reports have been lodged regarding the incident," he said.
