GEORGETOWN - Voting has suspended at one stream in Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Relau in Paya Terubong after a ballot box was found to be allegedly unsealed here today.

It was widely reported that Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Ooi Ghee Oon who discoverd the unsealed ballot box at 11.25am.

He said he would not recognise any of the ballots in that box as valid votes and urged Election Commission (EC) to suspend voting for that stream, which was said to have 719 voters.

It is believed that the stream was channel 15.

It was also reported that the seal was left on the table next to ballot box.

EC officials are investigating on this matter and whether the 177 ballot papers would be invalidated.

Ooi said he will be filing a police report on the matter at the North East District Police Headquarters at 3pm today.

In another incident, a video allegedly showing hundreds of "clone ballot papers", believed to be located at Pakatan Harapan’s tent nearby Sekolah Kebangsaan Pauh Jaya was being shared online.
