PERMATANG PAUH - Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has called on the people of Malaysia to come together in unity following the conclusion of the state election campaigns on Saturday.

He emphasized that the outcomes of the state elections in Kedah, Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, and Kelantan, which will be known today, only determine the leadership of the respective state governments. However, the administration of the federal government will continue as usual.

"Based on our observations, so far, the situation in all six states is good, and there is a calm atmosphere.

"The campaign has ended, so let us come together in unity," he said when approached by the media outside the Seri Penanti National School voting center here on Saturday.

Anwar, along with his wife, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, arrived at the polling center at 9.33 am and was seen completing their voting by 9.40 am.

Furthermore, Anwar urged voters to fulfill their responsibility in the six states involved in the state elections.

"I urge voters to fulfill their individual responsibilities.

"Vote early and do not delay the responsibility to vote as soon as possible," he added.
