'Muhyiddin should lead the country again,' says Azmin Ali
KUALA LUMPUR – Perikatan Nasional Hulu Kelang candidate Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali lauds the huge turnout of people at the Grand Finale Ceramah in Taman Melawati, less than 24 hours before polling day.
"We want Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to govern our country again,' he said in his opening speech at the event, which also saw the attendance of the former prime minister.
He said Muhyiddin's leadership has elevated the country's economy to where it is today. We will take over Selangor and then take over Putrajaya," he continued.
"We want to win at Hulu Kelang, Gombak Setia, Sungai Tua, Bukit Antarabangsa, Lembah Jaya, Pandan Indah, Batu Tiga, and the whole state of Selangor, Insya-Allah," he said.
He hopes that with Allah SWT's blessings and the mandate given by the people, he will be able to win Malaysia tomorrow.
"PN pledges to make Selangor an economic powerhouse, attracting investors and many others to make Malaysia an advanced country.
"Anwar Ibrahim threatened Selangor and Putrajaya to not criticise him and the government, but they forgot that the current police know that PN is not criminal and ‘kepala sakau’ (kleptocrats), but the real ‘kepala sakau’ is in Putrajaya with 47 corruption cases.
"Enough is enough; there should be no more accusations against PN. Look at Singapore; there is a transport minister that is being investigated for being involved with corruption. You want to fight off corruption, 'kepala bapa kau' (your father's head)," he said.
Expressing regret for not winning the last general election, he pleaded with the people to cast their votes.
"There shall be no more hands that will block PN’s win tomorrow in six states.
"We want more than 95 per cent votes for PN in Malaysia. My number is 01; look at the ballot paper on the upper side tomorrow and vote for me," he said.
