KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim pledges that all school toilets in the country will be repaired by Dec 2023.

As part of the election promise, he said the Pakatan Harapan government is the only government to take toilet cleanliness issue seriously as it involves the health of the young children and students.

“We will set a record by end of this year, to repair and refurbish all school toilets by end of the year,” he reaffirmed at the Finale Ceramah at Keramat in tonight.

Anwar said he said he would look into fundings to bear the cost of upgrading these toilets so that Malaysian children will have clean and safe toilets.

He went on to say even this idea was also played up by PN, saying that this was also their idea previously.
