KUALA TERENGGANU - Terengganu Pas Youth has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over an alleged bribery incident that took place during the early voting on Tuesday.

The report was lodged by Pas Youth information chief Muhammad Irsyad Syafiq Burhanuddin, who said that the report was filed after there were reports of the existence of the bribe.

"Today we represent Terengganu Pas Youth and the Terengganu public lodging several reports regarding the misuse of power and the corruption activity happening in the state.

"We urge MACC to immediately investigate and whether it truly happened. If true, it is embarrassing for our nation," he said today.

A viral claim circulated on Tuesday across various social media platforms alleging that a candidate participating in a district's state election attempted to bribe the security team with RM200.

According to the viral message, the head of the security team was purportedly involved in coercing junior members to back a specific political party.
