KUALA LANGAT - A young female student endured a harrowing experience when she was repeatedly raped at a residence in Telok Panglima Garang on July 29.

Kuala Langat District Police Chief Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor said the incident transpired around 2am and involved a group of five individuals, two of whom were fellow school students.

He said initial investigations revealed that the 15-year-old victim was lured to the house by one of the suspects before enduring the ordeal.

One of the suspects is an acquaintance of the victim's cousin, who had initially sought his assistance to escort her home in Klang.

However, the suspect exploited the situation, taking the victim on a motorcycle to another location where the assault occurred. After the incident, he eventually returned her home," he said in a statement on Thursday.

An investigation was launched immediately after the victim filed a report on Aug 1, which led to the arrests of five individuals, aged between 15 and 23, in Klang and Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor, on the same day.

It was discovered that two of the suspects, aged 15 and 17, were still attending school.

"None of the suspects had a prior criminal record, and their urine tests returned negative for drugs. They have been remanded for eight days for investigation, per Section 375(B) of the Penal Code," he said.
