Eizlan Yusof optimistic about PN's chances in state elections
SINAR HARIAN REPORTERSHAH ALAM - Actor and director Datuk Seri Eizlan Yusof is optimistic that Perikatan Nasional (PN) could win several seats in the upcoming state elections, following the high turnout of early voters on Tuesday.
Eizlan, who has been actively campaigning for PN candidates, said the positive response from voters is a sign that the public wants change.
"Every time I come down to campaign, the aura given from voters is positive. They are looking for a change," he said.
Eizlan added that the public's support for PN is only growing stronger, despite the attacks from opposing parties.
"The opposing parties can continue their dirty tactics of attacking figures such as Tan Sri Annuar Musa, Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor or even the Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, but they are only strengthening the public's support for PN.
"This Saturday is the decider, and I urge all those eligible to vote to perform your responsibilities," Eizlan said.
Throughout the campaign period, Eizlan has been seen active in giving support for PN candidates, including Datuk Seri Rina Harun (Batu Tiga state seat PN candidate), Hilman Idham (Gombak Setia state seat PN candidate) and Hanif Jamaluddin, the Sungai Tua state seat PN candidate.
