PN to win 29 seats in Selangor with support from Indians and Chinese voters, says Pas state secretary

This, Roslan Shahir said, based on the good feedback and participation they received during their hustings and walkabouts in Selangor.
"The receptions from Indian and Chinese voters have been very good.
"During past walkabouts, Chinese voters would usually ignore us and refuse to take our leaflets, but now, they acknowledged us and even offered to pay for our food.
"As someone who has been in politics for a long time, I believe this is a good indication for PN," he said in a press conference at PN Selangor main operation room at Section 13, here today.
Roslan Shahir added that if PN could further convince non-Malay voters, it would be a wake-up call for Pakatan Harapan (PH) to quickly pack up to leave State Secretary's office (SUK).
Support from the Indian community, he said, started from MIC's protest due to the lack of nominated candidates from the party.
"Selangor is one of MIC's strongholds, so when they did not get enough seats, they decided not to contest in the state elections.
"This decision was from the party's leadership but on the grassroots level, there was a lot of dissatisfaction. Some decided to give their support to PN instead," he said.
Roslan Shahir said the same scenario has occurred in Umno as he has been receiving feedback from Umno members who want to support PN.
"They feel as if our fight is their fight. I believe that we can get more than 50 per cent votes from Umno in this upcoming election," he said.
Instead of attacking them, Roslan Shahir said they would continue persuading them to vote for PN if they truly want to see and mobilise change.
