KUALA LUMPUR - Perikatan Nasional (PN) secretary-general, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, says he will meet his lawyer tomorrow to discuss the slander made against the country's previous leaders by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

"I will meet my lawyer tomorrow night to talk about what we are going to do about the Prime Minister's slander against Malaysia’s past leaders.

"I will then make an announcement on this. I pray that every slander put upon us in the past will be the starting point for showing how our prime minister is someone who is inhuman, and we totally reject this kind of leader," he said upon lamenting his feeling of betrayal on what Anwar has done to the opposition whose most member were part of the government.

"I pity Anwar. This is the first time I have seen a Prime Minister so insulted and talked negatively about by his own people until people are annoyed to see his face," he said.

"He is currently in the position where if he steps forward, he will be in the wrong, and if he steps backwards, the same will happen," he exclaimed.

Earlier, he also called on Hulu Kelang voters to vote for Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

"Tomorrow Anwar might come here and slander the PN leaders further, but I want everyone to give their undivided support to Azmin.

"This is to prove to the current government that the upcoming state election is not just an ordinary election but works as a referendum and the people's voice and power in electing a better government that can govern them," he said, which received a standing ovation from the people attending tonight, while also chanting 'Perikatan Nasional'.

Hamzah reiterated that the polls’ result would be the future of the people and that PN was the alternative for Malaysians who were overlooked by the unity government.

" I know that PN is an alternative for most people who are in need of help that the current government does not give, and for that we have responsible and honest leaders in the party to administrate not just Selangor but the whole country," he said and ended his speech by urging people to ask their most contacted person in the mobile phones to also vote for PN.
