Nik Abduh breaks 'political fast' days after temporary withdrawal from politics

KOTA BHARU - Former Bachok MP, Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz or Nik Abduh has reversed his decision to "fast" from the country's political arena.
He said this in his Facebook post, today.
"I am breaking my political fast. Turns out political fasting is tough. It's frustrating," he said.
Most of the comments left by his followers urged Nik Abduh to resume his political journey to continue the legacy of his late father, Tan Sri Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
On July 31, Sinar reported that Nik Abduh confirming his temporary withdrawal from the country's politics.
"I am fasting and taking a break from the country's politics for a period.
"It's the toughest period for me and my mother.
"May Pas strengthen with the best leadership to drive the nation's future," he added.
It was said that he had decided to take a break from politics following his failure to be nominated as a candidate in the state elections.
He was initially touted as a potential Pas candidate for the Chempaka seat in Kelantan. However, the slot instead went to Nik Bahrum Nik Abdullah.
