265 police officers, personnel cast their votes at Seberang Perai

SEBERANG PERAI – A total of 265 out of 665 police officers and personnel have fulfilled their responsibility today by casting their votes for the Penang state election at the Seberang Perai Tengah District Police Headquarters, today.

This was revealed by Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for the Seberang Jaya state seat, Johari Kassim during his visit at the polling centre here today.

“This is for early voting for all police officers and personnel.

“The total number of police officers and personnel registered at this centre is 665. As of 10am, a total of 265 of them have already carried out their duties.

“I hope that all the voters here can evaluate and vote for the candidates who can serve them in Seberang Jaya and Penang,” he added.

Johari will be contesting against Izhar Shah Arif Shah from Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the Penang state election on Aug 12.

Izhar is the son of former Seberang Jaya assemblyman from Barisan Nasional (BN) Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah who served for two terms from 2004 to 2013.
