'Anwar frequents Kedah, Kelantan because he's afraid' - Mohd Amar
KOTA BHARU - Pas deputy president Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah claims Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's is fear is why he is constantly seen at Kedah and Kelantan to campaign for the state elections.
Amar elaborated that the campaign trail would usually be conducted by the Deputy Prime Minister based on previous elections.
"During Tun M's (Dr Mahathir Mohamad), Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi eras they rarely came down to these sides to campaign
"Usually the deputy prime minister would often appear. Even if they did appear once is enough, but now its the prime minister himself campaigning," he said when met by reporters in Panchor, here on Monday.
He said Anwar's frequent appearance in Kelantan and Kedah was a sign he was worried about PH-BN's chances in these states.
"For example, if we were the headmasters, we wouldn't be in the classes teaching. The headmaster must observe and so entering classrooms to teach is odd.
"With so much focus on Kelantan and Kedah, Selangor would fall," he said.
