Pas Terengganu using personal attacks to cover weaknesses, says BN's Razif

SHAH ALAM - Barisan Nasional (BN) in Terengganu has slammed state rule of Pas, alleging that the party has run out of innovative ideas to develop the state and has resorted to using personal attacks to sway voters.
As campaigning for state polls heats up, the opposing party has brought up the issue of BN's vote, suggesting that the DAP might serve as their campaign model this time around.
Despite winning the Takir seat for three terms and being viewed as the safest seat for Barisan Nasional, Datuk Seri Razif Abdul Rahman will not take things for granted.
“In my opinion, the opposition lacks campaign model and I believe the public has evaluated these frantic strategies to win voter support.
"I am confident that the issues raised by the opponent are not the primary concern for the people of Seberang Takir.” he told Sinar.
The former Menteri Besar Terengganu will face Perikatan Nasional's Khazan Che Mat.
Razif disagrees to political parities resorting to personal attacks to gain votes from voters.
“I was never keen on this type of marketing from the start. National politics have changed and all parties, in my opinion, need to be mature.
“Personal attacks will not get us anywhere. So, instead of attacking others, I believe it is more appropriate for us to focus on developing our community.
"That is far better than this type of attack campaign.” Razif added.
