Survey shows strong support for Amirudin as Selangor MB in marginal seats
NURHIDAYAH HAIROM NAZRIN ZULKAFLISHAH ALAM - A recent survey in Selangor within marginal seat voters showed a significant 77 per cent of respondents representing all ethnic groups, expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of Pakatan Harapan (PH) leaders and the Caretaker Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
The survey conducted by Endeavour-MGC (EMGC) used stratified random sampling, a technique used in research and surveys to ensure a representative and unbiased sample from a population with diverse subgroups or strata.
The survey was taken from 1,068 respondents.
However, the survey showed that 23 per cent of respondents from various ethnic group marginal felt Amirudin should not be nominated again for the position, with 30 percent of respondents in the marginal Malay constituencies sharing the same view.
As a result, the majority of respondents in the study hope to see Amirudin reappointed as the Selangor Menteri Besar if PH wins in the upcoming state election on Aug 12.
