BAYAN LEPAS - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim pledges that he wants to make Malaysia as an example of a 'good country' in this world.

Speaking at Ceramah Mega Madani, hare, last night, Anwar said he wanted to make Malaysia a great economical country and it starts with saving the states from opposing party.

“You want a Malay, multi-racial government or Malay ‘sakau’ government? The choice is yours.

"Please help save Penang, save Malaysia. I am saying this from my heart. I want to be a Prime Minister for everyone.

"I want to make Malaysia a great economical country in another five to six years. Not just becoming a Prime Minister, be happy and retire.

"I want this country to rise in all aspects. I want all races to be happy and we become a country that sets the example of a 'good country' in this world. This is my dream and ambition," he said.

Anwar further urged the Penang government to have good governance.

"We have to work hard, yes, we have to face challenges, yes, but I am confident this state's potential is very good, just govern well," he said.

Commenting further, Anwar said that a good leader should be concerned and take care of all welfare in this country.

"Let there be a leader who cares, the poor Malays in Baling are our problem, the Indians in the estate who are in hunger are our problem, the Chinese students who are smart but struggling with education allocation are our problem.

"The marginalised Sabah Sarawak is our problem. If we have this thought, we can lead Malaysia.

"This is a spirit that can lift Malaysia as 'number one' in this region," he said.
