Body found in a sack at scrap metal site
SERDANG - A body was found in a sack at a scrap metal site in Taman Bukit Serdang, here on Friday.
Serdang police chief Assistant Commissioner A A Anbalagan said he received the call from an individual at 1.30pm informing that a man was found and suspected to have died.
He said the victim’s identity was not yet known.
“Early investigations found the victim was suspected to be murdered and placed in a plastic sackor a white jumbo bag at a scrap metal storage site.
“The body was sent to the Serdang Hospital for an autopsy on Saturday to identify the cause of death,” he said in a statement on Friday.
He said a thorough investigation was done to track down and catch the suspect.
Anbalagan said the case was investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
He added the motive of the incident was still under investigation by police.
