Sexual harassment allegations only to tarnish Peja's image, good name

SEREMBAN - Negeri Sembilan Perikatan Nasional (PN) deputy chairman Gary Lee Ban Fat has expressed his belief that the allegations of sexual harassment against Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu are intended to tarnish the reputation of the Parti Peribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Deputy President.
Gary Lee said he was with Ahmad Faizal, also knows as Peja at Hotel Royan Chulan, Seremban, on the day of the alleged incident.
"I arrived at the hotel and met Datuk Seri's officer, Ab Rahim and the escort officer, Maran.
"Around 10.30am, I went up to the room to discuss the preparations for the Negri Sembilan election," he said in a statement today.
He added that the discussion ended at 11.30am.
"I confirm that around the time stated by the woman involved, I was with Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu at the hotel," he said.
Gary Lee said he is confident and believes that the police report was made to damage the image and good name of Ahmad Faizal.
Previously, a woman's police report linking to the Bersatu Deputy President was shared on social media.
In the report, the woman accused Ahmad Faizal of making sexually harassing remarks towards her.
