Young PH candidates accept the challenge at Sementa

SHAH ALAM – Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate, Erni Afrishah Azizi bravely took on the challenge to contest in Sementa despite PH losing to Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the Kapar Parliament in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Erni said according to her observation, looking at the momentum of the state election, she

Looking at the momentum in the state election (PRN), Erni believed that the wave of support for PH is becoming more significant, especially among young people.

"The momentum of support is quite strong even though Kapar is a stronghold that has lost in GE15, but we take that decision as a challenge for us to break through the stronghold.

"We also take the views of the residents and their views are also very positive ," she said when met by Sinar

Earlier Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had visited Sementa and joined one of the programmes organised by Erni at Jr Raden Restaurant, in Bukit Kapar here on Friday.

She added that the Prime Minister's visit also gave an advantage to PH and boosted the morale of the machinery in Sementa and Meru.

Meanwhile, the PH candidate in Meru, Mariam Abdul Rashid, said that the political consensus between PH and Barisan Nasional (BN) was also seen to be able to give the coalition an advantage in the state polls

"Throughout campaigning we were also visited by friends from MIC including Indian associations, so far they have given 'solid' support to all candidates from PH," she said.
