Dr M admitted in IJN, currently under observation

SHAH ALAM - Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was admitted to National Heart Institute (IJN) on Tuesday due to an infection.

A source said the 98-year old is undergoing treatment.

Despite being in the hospital, he is said to be writing and going through files at his hospital ward today.

The source further said he is not in any kind of danger and was being treated for an infection.

In Dec 2021 and in January 2022, Mahathir was admitted for a few days to undergo medical checks.
