KOTA BHARU - Kelantan Pas has raised concerns about certain parties resorting to baseless assumptions and accusations to tarnish the image of Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Pas state secretary Wan Roslan Wan Hamat highlighted that the coalition's enemies took these actions in an attempt to smear the leadership, including Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob and the state Deputy Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah.

He condemned the use of "percussion cap bullets" by these parties to create discord and false narratives between the Menteri Besar and Deputy Menteri Besar.

"We do not engage in such tactics and refrain from using personal issues to criticise the opposition," Wan Roslan stressed during a PN daily press conference for the state elections at the Kelantan State Pas Liaison Office.

He also pointed out that PN adopted a harmonious campaign strategy, focusing on providing in-depth explanations about the programs offered to voters and the public at large.

The coalition aimed to maintain a positive campaign approach without resorting to scare tactics, provocation, or slander.

Wan Roslan expressed confidence in PN's position as the election approaches on Aug 12.

He said that the Kelantan PN Programme has received a positive response from voters, including those outside of Kelantan or overseas.
