PN Gombak Setia candidate confident people will make the right voting decision
GOMBAK - Incumbent Gombak Setia assemblyman Hilman Idham is confident that the voters will make an objective decision in the upcoming state polls.
Hilman who met the media at Pusat Khidmat Rakyat Gombak Setia, expressed that with the changing of the political landscape, the people will surely make the right decision.
"I am optimistic that the people of Gombak will continue supporting Perikatan Nasional (PN), but I will admit that it is not going to be an easy fight," he said.
He added that, compared to the previous election (GE15), some voters were still willing to give Pakatan Harapan another chance to prove themselves.
"However, following the outcome of GE15, they are still burdened by the same issues the were hoping to be resolved. "When I was making visits to the community in Gombak Setia, I received very good feedback. "A lot of people expressed regret for their previous decision and will be supporting me in the upcoming election," he said.
He added that with the feedback he received over the past few days of campaigning, PN will continue to serve the constituents of Gombak Setia.
"I will not win the election by leveraging on the weaknesses of my opponents; instead, I will win this election based on my own track record and strengths."
