HULU KELANG - Hulu Kelang candidate Datuk Seri Azmin Ali pledges granting a three-month bonus to all civil servants in Selangor, exempting vendors and businesses from paying the business license fee and waiving assessment collection if Perikatan Nasional wins the state.

The former Selangor menteri besar, who was said to be one of the main men behind Sheraton Move that caused the sudden collapse of elected Pakatan Harapan, further urged the Malay community to participate actively in the electoral process.

"The Malay people should all go out and cast their ballots this August 12.

"There are minorities but 95 per cent will go out and vote. Even though, they are minority, because of their high turnout rate, we who are the majority lose to them.

In Selangor 39 out of 56 seats are Malay majority seats.

"If we do not cast our votes, it will be a loss for us," he said said at a ceramah at Keramat flats here last night.

Reflecting on his previous role as Selangor's menteri besar, Azmin Ali reaffirmed his commitment to a policy of 'Prihatin Rakyat,' where all citizens, regardless of their race or religion, could enjoy the benefits provided by the government.

"In case of a win, I will work tirelessly to serve the people of Selangor," he assured the crowd at Keramat flats.
