PH-BN Selangor launches five year offer this Monday
SHAH ALAM - The Selangor Unity Team will be launching its next five-year offer this Monday to push Selangor to a higher level.
The matter was announced by the caretaker Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari after the nomination process for all 56 Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional candidates in the Selangor State Unity coalition was completed and went well.
According to him, the spirit of camaraderie and cooperation forming the basis of the Federal Government is translated into action in the state elections because this cooperation is based on trust and not betrayal.
"Alhamdulillah, the nomination process for all 56 Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the Selangor State Unity coalition has been completed and is running perfectly.
"I am confident that PH and BN are leading in 68 to 70 percent of the contested areas, and capable of achieving victory in several areas of fierce competition.
"With this spirit, the Selangor Unity team will launch an offer for the next five years on Monday, July 31 at Dewan Raja Muda Musa, Section 7, Shah Alam, at 8.30pm God willing," he said in a statement on Saturday.
However, he said, the plan can only be realized with a team that is sincere, cohesive, loyal and able to offer services honestly to elevate the dignity of the people of Selangor.
On Saturday, the Election Commission confirmed that there were 147 candidates contesting in 56 state assembly constituencies throughout Selangor.
Out of all the constituencies, 26 seats saw a two-cornered fight, 25 constituencies with three corners, and five constituencies that will experience a four-cornered contest.
