KOTA BHARU - Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is confident voters for two states governed by Pas will 'swing back' and vote for BN and Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the state polls on Aug 12.

He said Terengganu had once been governed by BN which was later changed to Pas.

"The same thing happened in Kedah. InsyaAllah these two states will swing back to us.

"Kelantan is the only non-swing state as it’s a state that is obsessed with a party that promises “heaven”, he said in a press conference on Saturday.

He previously attended the Kota Bharu Parliament State Assembly Area Unity Government Component Parties Election Machinery Launching Ceremony at the Kelantan Umno Office, here.

According to Zahid, he said “heaven was Allah's rights to decide, the task was allegedly taken over by the party's leader.

He hoped not to give false hopes as the people want a balance between the world and the afterlife to be upheld.

He said the most important matter was that development must be brought to Kelantan after this.
