STATE POLLS: Three-cornered fights in Batu Tiga and Kota Anggerik
SHAH ALAM – As of 9.30am, all candidates planning to contest for the Kota Anggerik and Batu Tiga state seats in Selangor have safely filed their nominations at Dewan Tanjung MBSA, Section 19.
Among notable names include former Women, Family and Community Development Minister and ex-Sepang MP Datuk Seri Rina Harun (Perikatan Nasional), Kota Anggerik incumbent Najwan Halimi (Pakatan Harapan) and Selangor Pas Youth Chief Shukri Omar (PN).
Muda's Azad Akhbar and Cheda Razak also filed their nomination for the Kota Anggerik and Batu Tiga state seat.
Both state seats are expected to see a three-cornered fight among PN, PH and Muda candidates.
Rina, Cheda and Danial Al Rashid from Amanah will fight it out for the Batu Tiga seat, while Azad and Shukri will go against Najwan for the Kota Anggerik seat.
Bukit Amana Logistics and Technology Department Director Datuk Sahabudin Abdul Manan also visited the nomination centre.
