Altimet exudes confidence ahead of Ampang elections

AMPANG - Syed Ahmad Syed Abdul Rahman Alhadad, widely known as Altimet, made a grand entrance at Dewan Dato' Ahmad Razali at 8.30am, as loud cheers erupted to welcome the prominent rapper-songwriter.

Altimet, who has also served as the Ampang PKR chief for a considerable period, is now set to contest under the banner of Pakatan Harapan (PH) as a candidate for N20 Lembah Jaya.

Arriving at the nomination centre alongside his comrade, Muhammad Kamri Kamaruddin, who is contesting for Bukit Antarabangsa, Altimet exuded confidence and enthusiasm.

On the other side of the nomination center, Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters made their presence felt by chanting 'Allahuakbar' and the national anthem as they announced their arrival.

PN candidates, Cikgu Sharifah and Sasha Lyna, were visibly united, marching hand in hand as their supporters cheered them on.

Cikgu Sharifah, who holds the position of Pas Ampang information chief, will be contesting in Lembah Jaya, while Bersatu candidate Sasha Lyna is vying for Bukit Antarabangsa.

Also in the spotlight is Muda candidate, Melanie Ting, a 23-year-old newcomer to the political arena.

Ting's debut candidacy is set to take place in Bukit Antarabangsa.

The nomination centre was abuzz with excitement and energy as candidates and their supporters gathered to set the stage for the upcoming elections.
