SHAH ALAM - DAP's candidate for the Subang Jaya seat, Michelle Ng Mei Szen admitted that her principle and attitude of 'grin and bear with it' was one of the reasons why she has received solid support from the Subang Umno election machinery.

"I stick to the principle that after becoming a representative (last term) it doesn't matter who the voter votes for, what skin color or religion, I have to represent all the voters," she said.

Michelle, who was re-nominated in Subang Jaya, said this when asked to comment on the warmth and strong support she has received from the Umno Subang election machinery during a meeting with the unity government party machinery.

According to her, the friendship has actually been established for a long time because the majority of Umno members are local residents and they have known each other for a long time.

She explained that she had also worked with those who were also members of local residents' association and residents' representatives throughout her past term.

"That's why I set aside what has happened before and focus only on serving during the five years that was given to ," she said.

On Wednesday, the DAP candidate representing Pakatan Harapan (PH) held a meeting with Umno Subang and received the full support of the party machinery after being re-nominated in Subang Jaya.
