SHAH ALAM - The police are currently reviewing the closed circuit television (CCTV) footage inside and around the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) in Klang following the death of a girl receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the police are focusing on several aspects, including reviewing the CCTV recordings in the area and statements from various individuals.

"We have recorded the statements from 19 individuals comprising doctors, parents, neighbours and the victim's school, as well as the personnel stationed at the hospital's guardpost," he said at a press conference held at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters on Tuesday.

Hussein said the police are awaiting a full forensic report on the victim's death.

On July 14, HTAR, through a statement, stated that it would investigate the death of a 10-year-old child who died while seeking treatment at the hospital.

Its director Dr Zulkarnain Mohd Rawi said the matter is being reviewed after the video went viral on TikTok.
