Mohd Amar: Gua Musang progressed because of Pas, not BN
HAZELEN LIANA KAMARUDINKOTA BHARU - Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar, Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah insisted that the developments relished by the people of Gua Musang today is the result of Parti Islam SeMalaysia's (Pas) hard work to develop the area and not because of Barisan Nasional (BN).
He said the progress resulted from the planning made by the party's state government during its 33-year reign.
"Throughout the 12 years BN ruled, how much progress have they made in Gua Musang?
"Gua Musang is progressing now due to planning and efforts during our reign," he said during Kelantan Maju 2028 programme broadcasted live on Facebook on Sunday night.
He added that the development in Kelantan should not be compared to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Penang, as all three are developed states with ports, good roads and other facilities.
He explained that comparing Kelantan with the three states can be likened to a football team playing in the Super League with the Premier League.
