‘I have never asked Anwar to drop corruption charges against me’ - Zahid

MACHANG - Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says he has never asked for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s favour to have the 47 corruption charges he is currently facing, to be dropped.
Zahid said he was ready to face all the charges framed against him.
“I have never asked for the charges to be withdrawn,” he said in his speech at the Madani Unity Tour in Bukit Tiu, here, today.
Anwar who is Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman was also present at the event.
