Sanusi needs to prove his arrest is a plot against him - Razeef
IZWAN ROZLINSHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) election director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor needs to prove that his arrest was a plot against him that was planned six months before the incident.
Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy information chief Razeef Rakimin said if the arrest was a plot as what the caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar claimed, how would the latter explain about allegedly insulting the Sultan of Selangor.
"Was there a script written to make such remarks on the Selangor royal institution prior to the incident?," he said.
Razeef said Sanusi was known as a person who liked to create a perception that he was the one being attacked and oppressed even though what happened was his own fault.
"Sanusi needs to prove that it (arrest) was actually planned or he was just making up a story to cover up his action disrespecting the Malay Rulers," he said in a statement, today.
On Tuesday, Sanusi was charged in two Sessions Courts in Selayang with two counts of sedition over the appointment of Selangor Menteri Besar and the establishment of the unity government in his political talk, last week.
