POLITICALLY FRANK: Terengganu peddled backwards under Pas, no progress, development, says Umno ex-MB
SHAH ALAM - Pas has failed to fulfill its responsibilities in developing Terengganu, says former Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said.
In a Politically Frank episode with Sinar Daily, Ahmad further raised questions about Pas's track record on development projects and attracting investors to the state.
"What development projects did Pas do so far in Terengganu? How many investors have come to Terengganu?
"Pas said they want to build 20,000 houses, where is it? So far I have seen 200 houses in Kemasik and in my village its just some ground work being done so far," he said.
He further criticised Pas, stating that despite the votes in the last 15th general election (GE15) going to Perikatan Nasional (PN), the people of Terengganu have not benefited from Pas' governance.
"There are no ministers from Terengganu. No deputy ministers from Terengganu. No provision for Terengganu MPs.
"This shows that people's votes are wasted," he added.
As a result, Ahmad expressed hope for Barisan Nasional (BN) to win in the upcoming state election, urging voters to return and support BN.
"Based on this, we hope voters will return and vote for BN in the upcoming state election," he said.
