ULU KELANG - Piala Azmin Ali has emerged as a significant initiative to foster Malaysian youth's talents in sports, with a particular focus on football.

Selangor Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman, Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, praised this initiative during the final Piala Azmin Ali 2023 match, held at BB Sports Park in Taman Melawati.

"This match is an excellent initiative led by Aminur Rasyid Yuszhari (Bersatu Melawati division chief), and I am delighted to witness the participation of six football teams today," Azmin said.

Azmin further stressed that sports play a vital role in engaging the youth, offering them opportunities to explore their potential.

"Football, in particular, instills discipline and teamwork among the youth.

"It allows us not only to celebrate victories but also to build mutual respect," he added.

Azmin commended the young people of Ulu Kelang for their active participation, viewing it as a promising start that will inspire the next generation to lead.

He expressed his hopes that this event will become an annual fixture, serving as a platform for young talents to nurture and showcase their football skills.
