SHAH ALAM - A total of 63 per cent of 1,068 Malays in Selangor admit that they feel that their rights are being threatened.

However, the survey conducted by Endeavour-MGC did not provide the details on the specific issues that threatened the rights of the respondents.

Meanwhile, 35 per cent of the respondents disagreed that their rights were being threatened by others while two per cent answered that they did not know.

The same study also revealed that a majority of the respondents which was 87 per cent, had no knowledge about any government policies or initiatives aimed at curbing inflation or reducing the cost of living.

A total of 13 per cent admitted to have known about it.

In a response to the question "to what extent are you worried about the impact of inflation on your personal finances?", a total of 89 per cent of the respondents expressed concerns about being affected.

A total of 49 per cent of the respondents stated that they were very worried, 40 per cent were worried about the impact of inflation, while 11 per cent were less concerned about the issue.
