SEREMBAN - Negeri Sembilan DAP have reiterated their support for Negeri Sembilan Parti Keadilan Rakyat chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun to be given a chance to lead the state government as Menteri Besar if he won the state elections.

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke Siew Fook said he will bring the motion to PKR president Datuk Ser Anwar Ibrahim to be considered.

“Tonight, I announce DAP will continue to support Aminuddin as the Besar. This is our support and commitment to him.

“We support Aminuddin because he has proven as a Menteri Besar, not only is he loyal to the struggle, but he has love for the people and cares for the state,” he said in his speech at the Negeri Sembilan State Election DAP Dinner Ceremony here on Friday.

Also present was DAP deputy chairman Gobind Singh Deo and DAP deputy chairman Nga Kor Ming and Aminuddin.

The Negeri Sembilan DAP chairman said Aminuddin was a Menteri Besar that was fair to all individuals in Negeri Sembilan without taking into account race or religion.

Loke said all Pakatan Harapan (PH) Assemblymen have proven that they don’t turn their backs and become ‘political frogs’.

“We remained for five years and when the ‘Sheraton Move’ happened many stated the Negeri Sembilan state government would fall and the Menteri Besar would be overthrown.
