Sanusi is irrational, lacks ideas and political morals – Finance Minister’s pol-sec
SHAH ALAM - Caretaker Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor's recent speech shows that he is irrational and lacks ideas and political morals.
Finance Minister political secretary Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim in a statement said this was another attempt to change historical facts and slander in the form of personal attacks against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said that it was clear evidence that Sanusi was not qualified to be a leader who should exhibit high moral and ethical values.
“The act of denying and distorting the facts and recommendation of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) in the formation of the unity government today and criticism towards the appointment of the Selangor Menteri Besar (MB) is a clear disobedience to the sovereignty of the royal institutions and Malay rulers.
“The slander thrown against Anwar without any shame is far from the Islamic morals that should be embodied by party leaders who fight for Islamic principles.
“Are defamatory and insulting statements now becoming Sanusi’s main capital to continue gaining cheap political support?” Kamil questioned.
He also urged the community to judge wisely as the country does not need a leader who often speaks in an irrational tone and without good manners.
“Elevate a political culture of high ideas and morals,” he said.
