SHAH ALAM - Pakatan Harapan (PH) Election Commission has described the actions of Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor as extreme and rude, after he allegedly insulted the Selangor Sultan and belittled the appointment of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari during a speech in Selayang.

State PH Election director Mohd Yahya Mat Shari said that the political stage should not be made into a place to insult the royal institutions and the Selangor Menteri Besar.

"It was clearly an insult to the Selangor Sultan, and it should not be released from the public's mouth who focus on the Rukun Negara principles.

"There are two important things from the Rukun Negara standpoint: Loyalty to King and Country and Politeness and Morality.

"This clearly shows Sanusi is not capable and is rude towards the public and he had no manners," he said when contacted on Thursday.

He added that the police must take action by calling the Kedah Menteri Besar to be questioned regarding his speech in the ceramah.

Sanusi's speech went viral on Thursday after the Pas leadership was displayed as if touching on the Selangor Sultan's approval to appoint a 'Menteri Besar (Amirudin) without quality)'.

Amirudin in a response statement, reported that the Perikatan Nasional (PN) leadership and its supporters must evaluate all statements made by Sanusi and recognise the mistakes he made that were described as against 'campaign' etiquettes.
