Man nabbed for using daughters as sex slaves, impregnating one of them

MUAR - Police arrested a man on Tuesday after he was believed to have raped his two daughters aged 12 and 15 in Jeram, here, since 2017.
The 53-year-old man was believed to have committed the offence for the past seven years with the last offence said to have occurred earlier this month.
It is understood that the man had allegedly raped one of the victims since she was nine years old and it had happened several times in their own home.
During the seven-year period, the two siblings was said to have been sex slaves to their father.
The victim did not dare to tell anyone about the incidents but the man’s action was discovered on Monday when the 15 year old victim complained of chest pain and was subsequently examined at the hospital.
Muar district police chief Assistant Commissioner Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the examination result conducted by medical officers at the hospital revealed that the victim was pregnant.
Following the discovery, a police report was lodged and the suspect was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) for further investigation.
“The suspect was remanded for a week starting yesterday. The police are recording the victims’ statement to complete the investigation,” he said when contacted.
He added that the case was investigated in accordance with Section 376(3) of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 30 years and up to 10 lashes if convicted.
