KELANTAN - Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman also known as Datuk Seri Vida, will not withdraw her intention to buy Kelantan Football Club (FC) despite facing competition from Erfan Gym & Fitness owner Erfan Akif Ruslan.

According to her, a closed-door discussion has already taken place with the owner of Kelantan FC, Norizam Tukiman, on Saturday and it went positively.

She stated that further discussions will be held to get a clearer picture of the East Coast club.

"Yesterday, we had a closed-door discussion with Zamsaham to hear the current situation of Kelantan FC directly from them.

"So, we received an explanation from them, and further meetings will be held because there are many things to consider and many things I want to look into deeply regarding Kelantan FC.

"Based on this first meeting, I can say it was positive and there is room for me to acquire Kelantan FC," she told Sinar on Sunday.

Previously, Vida officially expressed her intention to purchase Kelantan FC in an effort to rescue the team from its declining performance.

However, she faced competition from Erfan who is also interested in buying the club, despite the price being set at RM10 million.

Norizam also known as Zamsaham admitted that he was intrigued by Erfan's offer and wanted him to provide proof of funds first.

In addition, he did not consider RM10 million as a suitable value for Kelantan FC.

"Zamsaham has not given us the value of Kelantan FC yet.

"We also need to undergo several processes and we will assess the actual value of Kelantan FC.

"If Erfan can afford it, let him buy it for RM10 million.

"I will observe the situation and evaluate it first. I don't want to hastily determine the value of the club at RM10 million.

"To me, Kelantan FC may not be worth that much.

"If he is confident with the value of RM10 million, then go ahead.

"However, I will not withdraw and will continue discussing the purchase of Kelantan FC," she said.
