SHAH ALAM - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang's health was reported to be recovering well after undergoing treatments in the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ) due to a fever last week.

Hadi, who is also a Marang MP, also chaired the meeting held at the party headquarters on Saturday.

His latest progress was shared by Pas treasurer Datuk Iskandar Abdul Samad via a Facebook post on Saturday.

"Alhamdulillah Pas president Hadi is healthy to chair the Pas Central Committee Member meeting this morning (Saturday).

"Let’s pray for him to continue leading the Ummah and the people," he said.

Sinar Harian reported on July 1 that Hadi’s health condition was worsening and that he was admitted to a hospital in Terengganu to receive treatments.

This was informed by his son, Muhammad Khalil, through a post on his Facebook page.

Khalil said in the same post that his father had fallen sick after attending the Terengganu Pas Youth election machinery launch in Marang on June 27.
